Quite simply, these are just a bunch of energy-giving foods smooshed together.

If you love peanut butter and chocolate, then you’ll love these energy bites. They don’t need any baking, call for only 6 simple ingredients, and are a real treat!

Steps

1
Done

Pit the dates and add them to a food processor. Blend until you reach a smooth consistency.

Note: If you don't own a food processor, you can also mash the dates using a fork and then mix it with the other ingredients. If the dates are not soft, soak in warm water for 10 minutes first.

2
Done

Add in the rest of the ingredients and combine everything.

3
Done

Use a teaspoon measure to form balls with your hands. If you find the mixture is too sticky and doesn't form into balls easily, add shredded coconut, and try again.

4
Done

Sprinkle some chopped coconut flakes or salted peanuts on top, and/or sesame seeds, if desire, and enjoy!

Store the energy bites in the fridge for up to 1 week.
